Clinton Defeats Obama in the New Hampshire Primary

Hillary Clinton has defeated Barack Obama in New Hampshire. Clinton finished the race with 39% of the vote, with Obama getting 36%. John Edwards was a distant third, securing 17% of the vote.

On the Republican side, John McCain won with 37% of the vote and Mitt Romney pulled up second with 32%. Mike Huckabee and Rudolph Guiliani are not yet factors in the election.

The loss is a setback for the Obama campaign, which achieved a great deal of momentum after his win in Iowa. In spite of the small size of Iowa and New Hampshire, they are given a disproportionate amount of importance in election primaries. Some have criticized the system, stating that it does not properly reflect what is going on throughout the country.

The win is considered a campaign saver for Clinton, who was allegedly running short of funds in her drive to become the first female president of the United States. The win was nothing short of stunning, as Clinton was proclaimed to be trailing Obama by double digits in many respected polls.

Hillary Clinton's progress has reminded some of the experience of her husband Bill, whose first boost came with a second place win in New Hampshire. Clinton used the momentum and eventually went on to become President of the United States. During the 1992 election, Bill Clinton proclaimed himself "The comeback Kid", which led to voter enthusiasm that thrust him into The White House.

Bill O'Reilly is a nuance. FOX left ignored Michelle Obama as her husband, thanking her gestured, to her thnking her ater the Iowa. Thank God that they aren't the only channel. Of course the other channels haven't given her much visibility either. He is the subject and as long as the cameras are on him, well I'm okay. Mrs Clinton boo hooed and won New Hampshire. We really don't need a wining woman in the White House. If she considers this "pressure" what woud she do under real pressure. Those old biddies in New hampshire must be senile. I heard an older woman say that she was voting for McCain "more of the same", because he'd given so much of himself "prison camp, I guess", that she felt that he should be Preseident. WHAT? These reason the air heads are giving as qualifications for President are real weak. I'm realy being nice.
You people really don't want Bloomberg for president. He can't even get the rodents out of New York. Neither does he realy care about the landlords stealing from the renters her in New York. I they can't take care of simple things, how do they figure that they can run a country. He also closed a bunch of Seniors programs in Harlem. I stood next to the man and felt nothing. Like standing next to a hologram, honestly. Is he from space or what. You ask him a question and he doesn't look at you. He just tells you who else to speak to. Its just disgraceful. Money has really confusedthis guy, just like the rest. He and Romney are clueless. Don't get me started!!! M.B. New york City
