Hillary’s Nuclear Option Position Me or John McCain

I am frighten for this country and the Democratic Party because it appears that the Clintons have decided on the nuclear option for the 2008 Presidential election. Hillary doesn’t care if she splits the country or the Democratic Party apart in the process. Hillary Clinton actions and words demonstrate that the next President of the United States will be either her or John McCain.

Evidence to support the above-mentioned statement that it’s either Hillary or McCain is found in the recent Limbaugh and Clintons connection. After Limbaugh ran into Bill Clinton in a NYC restaurant in May 2007 he had to explain his civil behavior to his outraged audience. Fast-forward to February 2008, and the two political arch rivals may have formed an alliance.

On February 29, 2008, Laura Ingram was the guest host on The O’Reilly Factor. Ingram interviewed Rush Limbaugh. In an effort to secure victory for the Republican Party Limbaugh urged Republican voters in Texas to vote for Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primaries in Texas and Ohio.

On Tuesday March 4, 2008, Clinton won both primaries in Texas and Ohio. This week Bill Clinton appeared as a guest on The Rush Limbaugh talk radio show and was interviewed by a guest host because Rush was not present. This is appalling, why hasn’t Senator Clinton denounced and rejected Limbaugh’s endorsement?

I am having a reality check about the pending election process and the fact that this country is going “backwards.” I am amazed that some black are still supporting the Clintons. I cannot wrap my brain around the fact that 16 percent of Black voters cast ballots for Senator Clinton in Texas.

Additionally, why would Congresswoman Shelia Jackson-Lee or any other Black elected official continue in their roles in Senator Clinton’s campaign? What can their girl Hillary say to them after Bill has embraced right wing talk radio hosts led by Limbaugh? What future post or job is worth selling the hopes and dream of a one’s race to a couple that would do and say anything to return to the White House?

Ms. Richardson,

The only thing you are frightened is that the proclaimed black messiah (named Barrack Obama) might not win the Democratic Nomination or Presidency because of his flaws and inexperience FINALLY being exposed.

Let me ask you this as a hypothetical: If Obama was "white" and spoke about hope and change with support of Richest man in the World, Buffet, and had only 3 years on the National Stage as U. S. Senator, would you or majority of Black America vote 77% to 90% for the White version of Obama if Clinton ran against him?

HELL NO! Black folks would say, I like his message and inspiration, but he needs more than 3 years of experience as a U. S. Senator to run this country as Commander in Chief and President of the U.S.

That is the point. Majority of Blacks are blinded by the perception that this is the only way and only time a black can be president of the U.S. That is crazy. For real.

You guys are not thinking OUTSIDE THE BOX. Being a VP is not a bad thing under Clinton. First, he is much younger than Gore when he would become it. Second, he could LEARN how to become Commander in Chief, Steward in Stimulating the Economy, Selecting Qualified Judges for the Supreme Court and creating coalitions with any type of Congress so that legislations that help America progress gets passed, and a diplomat for foreign affairs. Third, like Gore under Pres. Clinton, Obama will be able to be "mentored and groomed" to solidify the Democratic Base (not tear it apart like he is doing).

Obama needs to not make the same mistake Gore and Kerry did in their runs. For the past 30 years, only the Clintons have occupied the White House even with resistance from the Democratic party. They are fighters and Americans respect FIGHTERS and elect FIGHTERS. Their works during those years are far better than Reagan, Bush, Sr. & Jr.

Black folks need to get their heads out of the sky here and come back to earth for a bit. Be strategic. Being a VP is a first for any black. He can still be President another way, but be better equipped to minimize his flaws.

Maybe I am mistaken but wasn't Clinton just a governor before he became president? So are you saying that a white man doesn't have to LEARN how to become Commander in Chief, but a black man does huh?

Wow and black folks are the ones who need to get our heads out the sky? No! Please get your head out of the sky and realize we are just as intelligent, we fight just as hard if not harder, and we also have the right to be anything we choose to be and that includes Commander in Chief of the United States of America!

Know, you need something besides a 2002 judgment on the Iraq war to draw upon to get the majority of Americans (who don't represent 12% of black folks) to have faith to vote you in to be President.

Democratic nomination process is not GENERAL PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN NOV-08.

Ask Gore, Kerry, Dukakis and Mondale that same question and why they lost to Republicans.

WOW! Why would any person (black or white) believe that anyone needs to "intern" at HRC's knee? It is incredulous to me, that black folk could even begin to carry HRC's water on this matter - ". . .Obama is too inexperienced - too naive - needs to intern -- needs to wait his turn, etc", when the real HRC game is " . . IT IS MY NOMINATION. . how dare a young half black - half white man with an oratory gift: "not a muslim . . as far as I know" challengre the great Clintons. I agree with Dick Gregory's comments at the Black Summit - black folks tricked Bill into believing that he was black. HRC has proven that when we black folks step out of line (the nerve & audacity to consider Obama as a viable candidate), she will get her some "new negroes" - hispanics who should take a page from black folk's experience. Everyone should VOTE for whomever makes their day - however, Black folks should not join the white folk's bandwagon - "a black candidate can run when and if we white folks decide".
