GOP presidential candidate, Herman Cain, may be a bad punchline for most of liberal America, but with Chris Christie (R-NJ) and Sarah Palin announcing that they aren't entering the ring; former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney's inability to hold on to a lead, Gov. Rick Perry's (R-Texas) "N----rhead" controversy causing him to lay low and Michele Bachmann (R-MN) continuing her disappearing act, the former Godfather Pizza magnate has crept into the unexpected position of being the GOP front-runner.
According to 27 percent of Americans surveyed in an NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, Herman Cain is now the front-runner for the Republican nomination in 2012; Mitt Romney is ruuner-up with 23 percent.
Voters connect with Cain because he's a "straight-shooter," not allowing criticism to alter his course, and many feel that he is the anti-establishment candidate that the country needs.
A 46-year old man from Florida said about Cain: "He has common-sense answers and is in touch with the heartbeat of America." Another respondent in his mid-50s, from Washington said, "Cain gives direct answers. He is succinct. He isn't a politician."
In the swiftly changing republican field, all eyes, for now, seem to be on Herman Cain.

This is wonderful. The words of Martin L King Jr comes to mind. People are judging this man by the content of his character versus the color of his skin. Mr. Cain would be the first Black Male President of the US. Obama is too Anti- Male to be considered a male and too white raised to be considered black.
Cain's lead is demonstating how bankrupt America has become. In the face of no worthy candidate in their midst, he is allowing himself to be used by the Republicans in an effort to defeat Obama, their primary goal. Because Cain has experienced a modicum of "success" within the American capitalistic establishment, he thinks he has "arrived" and is willing to close his eyes to the plight of those less fortunate than he, too large a percentage of whom look like him. He will get his reward for spewing the Tea Party venom and for being a h---- n-----, as did those in days of old.

Poor old Herman Cain. If I was a serious republican, and wanted to defeat President Obama. I would not waste my time supporting Herman Cain. I would push a more serious contender like Dr. Condoleezza Rice, or Colin Powell which both are smart proven leaders. Blacks would support those two serious politicians more. As Senator Lloyd Benson told then Senatoe Dan Quayle, in the most famous Vice-Presidential debate of 1988 ," Senator I knew Jack Kennedy very well, worked with him in the Senate, Senator you are no Jack Kennedy." Herman Cain would get the same response if he had to debate President Obama.
