Better To Have Loved and Lost? Reggie Love Making His Exit From White House

image

It's amazing that all the main people who made the Obama Administration so, well, cool, are slowly leaving.

First, "Green Czar", Van Jones, was pressured into leaving; then, Desiree Rogers, rumored to be getting too much attention for First Lady Michele Obama's liking, made her graceful exit. Rahm Emmanuel, the Chicago Bully with the big mouth that we all loved to hate, left to run the Windy City, and now, the "Body Man", Reggie Love, is leaving Barack & Co.

If it's true that turn-over rate is reflective of management, something may be brewing behind the scenes at the White House.

Reggie Love, the 6-4 former Duke University basketball standout, became President Barack Obama's shadow --- his "little brother" said the president; now, a full-time student at Wharton's School of Business, he's leaving to focus on school full time, said a White House spokesperson.

President Obama issued a statement, preempting any speculation that their may be deeper meaning behind Love's exit:

“Over the years, Reggie has been a friend, a teammate and an indispensable member of my staff,” Obama said. “From my Senate office to the White House, his ability to juggle so many responsibilities with so little sleep has been an inspiration to watch. He is the master of what he does. And even though I will miss seeing Reggie every day, I want to thank him for his service and wish him all the best as he begins a new chapter in his career.”

Divide and conquer is a powerful tool and isolation is another. With former players from the Bush Administration and Wall Street surrounding Obama, one has to wonder who is shaping his perspective now-a-days.

We'll miss seeing you Reggie!

You got to have more reasons than what was given by the President. What are we missing?
I hope this is not a cover up over something he he has done that was not liking to President Obama.

I rather look at this change in a positive light. Mr. Love is going to school full time and perhaps with an advanced degree may return with an even more influential position with the President in his second term. I think advance degrees are necessary in this competitive market. The President and First Lady both have Jurist Doctorate Degrees. Bachelor degrees are entry level professional degrees.

Being with the President on a daily basis is a high pressure 24/7 gig - If somebody wants to lead a normal life after such dedication, why must the movtiate for departure have sinister underpinnings? The problem with 'brothers' is the glass is always have empty and the water dirty to boot. I admire anybody who has been that close to the President for so long and now needs to do something else, instead raising question about why everybody's leaving why don't tyou volunteer to step in? I am really sick of guys who only got somthing to say that's negative. Obama has done a marvelous job and the so-called media turns a blind eye and all you can do is critize.

I agree with whit art. Why cant you say something positive about someone. Why is it that everything that
happens in Mr. Obama camp has to be negative. My parents always told me if you did not have anything nice to say KEEP YOUR MOUTH CLOSED.

I believe if you are going to say something negative about someone, you should be man or woman enough to sign your name. If you can give it out, you should be able to take it.

Ask notwhat your country can do for you but what you can do for your country. We need to help and be of real service and not lip service. We need to be of some earthly good. Help and encourage someone who need a job. Show Gods love. Be of good courage we shall overcome. We need to make our own clothes and form our own companies.Turn to each other and not on each other. A
