Senator Obama Should Not Offer The Vice President Slot On The Democratic Ticket To Senator Clinton.

One of my daughters mentioned that she recently viewed a film depicting the pain, violence, and outraged expressed by many African-Americans when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered. She stated that watching that footage made her grieve in her heart at the thought of what would happen to this country if something happened to Senator Obama.

Terry McAuliffe, Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign manager appeared on “Meet the Press” today. During his appearance he stated in part that Hillary is staying in the race in case "a natural disaster" happens to Obama. I hope and pray that this is not a coded message.

I also hope and pray that Senator Obama does not offer Hillary Clinton the VP spot on the Democratic ticket. The contributor of another political blog wrote,” If Hillary is Obama's VP he should get a food taster." I share the above-mentioned sentiment because of Pakistan's Benazir Bhutto's assassination and the poisoning of Alexander Litvinoenko, a former Russian KGB operative in 2007.

On a more positive note quoting another blogger "Obama has won more declared delegates and Clinton cannot overtake his lead. The Democratic Party has their nominee Obama, they should be dancing in the streets...."

Undeclared superdelegates Senator Obama has won. Please endorse Obama now and give him the 2025 delegates needed to end this process. It is time that all of his supporters (Whites, the hard working class, Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, young and older Americans) indeed dance in the street and not worry about Obama and this nation suffering "a natural disaster."

Vera,

I'm in total agreement with you. As I pointed out in one of my blogs, in light of Hillary's desperately irrational behavior during these primaries, I'd would be very concerned about having Obama be the "one breath" between Hillary and the White House.

Wattree

P.S. Check your blog. The first sentence is out of alignment.

Obama supporters need to nip this talk in the bud immediately.

I contribute to Obama's campaign every month, just like clockwork, and I don't want one penny of that money to go towards Hillary's benefit in any way.

Hillary Clinton is a demagogue, and she needs to be run out of politics. Period.

Two new blogs to stir up conversation.

Pick Obama's VP
Who should be Barack Obama's Vice President Running Mate?

Pick McCain's VP
Who should be John McCain's Vice President Running Mate?

Plus the often updated and objective Media Analysis of the Hillary campaign.

I share your same sentiments. I posted my own blog to express why Hillary should not be on the Democratic ticket. She would pose too much of a liability and the Democratic Party as an entity would loose its credibility.

Hey, I'm the last person anyone on this thread probably wants to hear from....white, 50ish female republican. However, that's why I'm hopin' you all will talk to me. First off, I'll be darned if I can tell the difference between the parties (Dem & Rep) anymore. Secondly, I can vote for Obama even though I don't think McCain's a bad choice, but don't let Hil be on the ticket. Wattree, Blackgold - you are sooo right. As is whoever said "make sure Barack has a taster if he puts her on his ticket". Obama would be a much more attractive ticket if Condoleeza Rice was his running mate. I can respect her....xxoo

And yes, I realize Condi's a Republican, but, as I said, I'll be darned if I can tell the difference anymore. I can only try to see through the egomania, spin and power hunger to try to gauge who might actually give a flying leap about any of us or the rest of the world. I get the feeling Condi, McCain, and Obama all do, but I could just be being naive again...and, unfortunately, having been a muni bond trader for 20+ years, I know a little too much about the financial world to believe any professional politician has a clue about how all the nifty little financial "products" work to actually know how to regulate them or decide appropriately which areas to bail out or let sink. My own personal rule of thumb from having to trade some of these pieces of crap is if it has "derivative" in the title, the word "gimmick" works just as well. Anyway, is there a blog where I can discuss why the Dems rush to bail out the housing industry is not going to help home owners who didn't realize what they were getting into (which is a whole 'nother thread) but will only bail out the Bear Stearns, mortgage brokers, developers, etc. who have already made their millions/billions on the backs of all of us? We ALL really need to take the blinders off on that one...I'd love to help

Anonymous,

You can distribute any specialized knowledge that you have here, the DailyKos.com, and send me a copy. I'd not only appreciate it immensely, but I'd personally see to it that it is distributed widely.

Thank you in advance.
