Michele Bachmann: I Bet They Wouldn’t Call Michelle Obama a Lyin’ A*s B*tch

Your Black World reports:

Well, well, well, Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) apparently found it offensive that the world famous Roots band played “Lyin’ Ass Bitch” after she was introduced on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show.

The GOP hopeful accused NBC of “sexism for not issuing an apology on behalf of the network,” according to Yahoo.com. She told Fox News in an interview Wednesday that the members of the band responsible should be fired and then made a provocative statement: "This wouldn't be tolerated if it were Michelle Obama, and it shouldn't be tolerated for a conservative woman,"

Host, Jimmy Fallon, issued a lackluster apology to his guest…via Twitter:

"I'm honored that @michelebachmann was on our show yesterday and I'm so sorry about the intro mess. I really hope she comes back," Fallon wrote. "Actually it was a fun interview. She helped me with my Minnesota accent. (I still sound Irish)."

Rep. Nita Lowey (D-NY) supports Bachmann’s ire, telling Politico Tuesday:

"The choice of song to introduce Michele Bachmann on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' last night was insulting and inappropriate. I do not share Michele Bachmann's politics, but she deserves to be treated with respect. No female politician—and no woman—should be subjected to sexist and offensive innuendo like she was last night."

Interesting question YBGossip: Would we tolerate Michelle Obama being called a “lyin’ ass bitch?” Is there a different standard for Republican women?

The same right wing conservatives who want to make an issue of this have excused racist NASCAR fans disrespecting the first lady and who was just recently referred to as UPPITY. The POTUS has been called every thing from TAR BABY to BOY to describing the first family as PLANET OF THE APES.

Michelle Bachmann and other white conservatives can't cry now that they are being publicly disrespected the same way. Bachamann like many right wing conservatives capitalized off of the racial hostility of many white voters the moment this country elected it's first black president. What comes around goes around.
