What does it mean to run from one evil to another seeking a safe haven? Or to believe in something, without conceptualizing it’s historical relevance? Ayaan Hirsi Ali and many others seem to know this feeling well as they blindly tear down Islam for the beauty of these United States.
Ali comes from a shattered back ground; she is scarred by her past in Somalia and her struggle to get to a democratic country. She has become a spokesperson for many people in the Western world that, like her; generalize Islam with its extremism.
A victim of genital mutilation at the hands of her prestigious family, Ali escaped to the Netherlands and worked her way into politics, but the more controversial she became, the more hated she was. Finally when her citizenship was threatened she found welcome arms outstretched by the U.S., and more specifically in its Republican base.
But one must question Ali’s view on the influence of Christianity in the Western world. Ali states that the Old Testament is obsolete in today’s society and refuses to understand it’s influence on our culture. It was in her recent appearance on Glen Beck where she could be seen smiling, laughing and asking for donations to buy her protection; that I thought, “maybe she is trapped.” Like many, maybe she needs America and is so new to the notion of free speech that she dare not spit on it. I would guess she thinks we are attempting to win her freedom and that America welcomes her with open arms because she is an immigrant, but the truth is her warm welcome is based on her willingness to be a puppet for the government’s every will. How many Black skinned people choose to be the bastard child of these power hungry ideologies?
What is the point in choosing the Devil you don’t know over the one that you do? And how can people like her be benefited in knowing the truth, more specifically those that share her same racial stance? I will discuss the nature of American and Western ideology and how it relates with our spokeswoman. To fully understand anything, all you must do is look at the history of that thing and you can grow to understand its future.
Dr. Frances Welsing of Howard University spent the 60’s combating scientific thought that suggested the genetic inferiority of Blacks to Whites with the idea that Albinism, the inability to produce melanin is a step back in the evolutionary process and that the Caucasian race is one that is always in danger of becoming extinct. If you have one drop of Black in you, you’re black considering the fact that at one point we may all be of brown skin. In the ethnocentric occuli of Western nations it has been their will to control and restrain the darker nations. Genetically dominated by people of color, the survival of white people necessitates hostility against people of color. So how is it that this Black woman from Africa has found a comforting home in the arms of an oppressor?
The best way to control and capitalize on foreign nations with a Western hand has been to use Christianity but Hirsi has yet to make this connection. If you seek our freedom recognize it is at the expense of many and with your prominent voice dare to bring people into the light. Or are your roots forgotten?
The Old Testament is a story of a people without land asking God for the strength to take land from others. It has been manipulated by Western rulers in order to control the darker nations of the world. Since the Emperor Constantine converted, modeling himself after the Old Testament’s King David, Christianity has been used to unite empires under one faith for political reasons. As the church grew more pious and corrupt the Crusades erupted in the name of Christ. The Bible proves to be an open tool for the manipulation of whoever is seeking power; this is visible in the Council of Nicaea. It was John Henrik Clark that pointed out that the nature of a religion that endorses the slave trade is one that fall’s from divinity. Seeking our own power in the name of our God’s has lead many conquests. The Hebrew God proves to be the perfect slab of clay for ambitious politicians and clergy men. The Gospel’s encourage a humility that will quiet any rebellious slave, or hot blooded woman.
The invisibility of the White race, has come under the impression that they are of no race and are therefore immune to the disputes based on color and the tribulations that come with it. our minds have been warped in such a way that Black people can go to the theatre and watch a White film identifying fully with the characters but if we make a Black film it is for a Black audience alone or a spectacle for whites to view as well. This trick that makes us think that Whites are the common people is relevant only because we are in the Western World. We feel empowered to be brown because we have the mentality that we are rare. In fighting for our survival we have touched and influenced every continent across the world and still somehow find ourselves feeling small and out numbered subscribing to a Western way of life and thought. Blood is blood and flesh is flesh, brown skin is normal and beautiful all the same. All humanity has the same history and though it is hard to navigate there is no credible argument against it beginning in Africa.
As we evolved and split up, the human race has been severed by skin tone and tribe but a universal knowledge must be met. The bad habits, diets, and power struggles of the Western hand and the hands that seek to mimic that grasp (fighting fire with fire) must be recognized for what they are…a handful of well thought out lies.
Any man that would oppress his own and others in the name of a Holy God, is twisting some truth around.
Words like democracy, and capitalism have been skewed to cater to the wealthy and powerful alone, and so an elitist outlook is derived from words that do not naturally convey that evil and injustice. That is why our rest comes from the labor of other nations for little to nothing. Word’s like “war on terror” birth actions of securing oil to further pollute our nation, and bring about actions to invade countries that weren’t the initial problem to begin with. Yet we sleep well while soldiers pay with their lives to keep our country in Iraq.
The inferiority complex of man has gone on for too long. We must recognize each land for what it is and in our own lives cultivate self reliance and peace in hopes that it will spread to our government. Black people must recognize the shift of the continents for what they are and not allow the preverbal Babel to tear them from unity within their selves and the Kemetic history of all mankind. We too must understand the flaws of our own people in adopting ways of foreigners whom have cut themselves from the cloth of their ancestors, remembering their names alone as if that was all there ever was.
When Black people accepted Islam they did it in order to find freedom from the European thought, but were quickly burdened with the manipulation of yet another twisted religion in order to oppress them. So when I see Black Muslims walking around as if they invented the religion I am caused to pause and question how one can adopt the philosophy of prophet whom was offensively militant from the beginning as opposed to defensively or peaceful all together.
Now if Hirsi can only see the pain that she has been inflicted with and the lack there of that we draw our nationalism from somebody has to tell her the two evils are one in the same. Any watered down Quran can make smiles like the Bible does here. We had ruff beginnings maybe they can find a way to fight through the lack of human rights that they sponsor in the same way and find a people to capitalize on as well. So soon enough we can all be fighting to see who can be the most corrupt and the laziest. Because while many Muslims despise what America stands for, everybody has to recognize that really our pasts are very similar. And many times if you want to see where you are going all you have to do is look at where you’ve been.
